The Puressentiel Preventative Lice Shampoo is not a treatment, but rather a gentle shampoo designed to help discourage lice infestation and maintain scalp hygiene, especially during outbreaks at school or daycare. Here’s how to use it:

How to Use:

1. Start with dry hair.
   The lotion is designed for application to dry hair, section by section for thorough coverage.

2. Apply the lotion generously.
   Use the easy-to-apply applicator nozzle to ensure each section is completely saturated—from roots to ends.

3. Let it work for 10 minutes.
   Leave the lotion on the hair and scalp for 10 minutes to allow the natural oils to act.

4. Shampoo as usual.
   After the treatment time, rinse your hair with shampoo (either your regular one or Puressentiel's gentle option)

5. Comb out dead lice and nits.
   While the hair is still damp, use a fine-tooth lice comb to carefully remove dead lice, larvae, and nits

6. Repeat after 3 days.
   A second application is required approximately 3 days later to eliminate any newly hatched lice

Helpful Notes

• Usage per bottle:

  • Long hair: One 100 ml bottle is enough for one person.

  • Mid-length to short hair: One bottle can treat 2 to 3 people.

Notes:

• It does not kill lice if already present. If lice are found, you’ll need the treatment shampoo or lotion first.

• It’s safe for frequent use, including on children (check your bottle for the age recommendation — usually from 3 years old).

• You can combine it with the Puressentiel Repellent Spray for extra protection when in close contact environments (schools, camps, etc.)
