Recommended Use

Natural Factors Relief Biotic® is a multi-strain formula featuring 7 billion colony forming units (cfu) of probiotics, including Lactobacillus, Bacillus, and Enterococcus strains shown to relieve some symptoms of irritable bowel syndrome (IBS). This innovative probiotic formula also helps reduce the risk of antibiotic-associated diarrhea and is shelf stable – no refrigeration required!

Recommended Adult Dose 

1 capsule daily or as directed by a health care practitioner. If you are on antibiotics, take at least 2–3 hours before or after.
Irritable bowel symptoms (adults):1 capsule daily or as directed by a health care practitioner. If you are on antibiotics, take at least 2–3 hours before or after. Use for 1–4 weeks.
Antibiotic associated diarrhea (children older than 12 years): 1 capsule 3 times daily with food or as directed by a health care practitioner. If you are on antibiotics, take at least 2–3 hours before or after. For use through the duration of antibiotic treatment.

Ingredients

7 billion* active cells of the following specially cultured strains of probiotics: Total bacterial culture 7 billion cfu†, Lactobacillus helveticus (R0052) (whole cell) (dairy) 2.9% 0.2 billion cfu†, Lactobacillus rhamnosus (R0011) (whole cell) (dairy) 54.2% 3.8 billion cfu†, Bacillus subtilis (R0179) (whole cell) (plant) 4.3% 0.3 billion cfu†, Enterococcus faecium (R0026) (whole cell) (human) 38.6% 2.7 billion cfu†. †cfu: colony forming units

Non-medical Ingredients

Potato starch, lactose, vegetarian capsule (carbohydrate gum [cellulose], purified water), whey powder, vegetable grade magnesium stearate (lubricant), ascorbic acid.

Caution

Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you have fever, vomiting, bloody diarrhea, or severe abdominal pain. If symptoms of digestive upset (e.g.,diarrhea) occur, worsen, or persist beyond 3 days, discontinue use and consult a health care practitioner. Do not use this product if you have an immune-compromised condition (e.g., AIDS, lymphoma, patients undergoing long-term corticosteroid treatment) or if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. May contain soy and milk. Keep out of the reach of children.
